Research Into Practice Workshop - Wairoa March 2014 -
Presentation was entertaining.
Great balance of theory and practice.
Fantastic, interesting, easy to understand. The days have gone quickly. Thanks Helen for catering. Di for organising fantastic 2 days, thanks.
Wonderful presenters, need to come back.
Would love to come back again.
The messages in the workshop have definitely encouraged a mental shift in a great way. The way children think/behave makes so much more sense. Inspiring!!
Excellent - well presented. Thoroughly recommended to all.
Every teacher should have the opportunity to understand the science research behind the brain. Looking forward to reading the book “The boy who was raised as a dog”. Very inspirational, increased knowledge to understand the science of the brain.
Excellent - wish I had spent more money & sent more staff along.
Great pace/mix of activities/listening etc. Friendly, focussed, future placed. Ka pai!
Everything was great. Really enjoyed all the info. Especially Julienne’s info. Loved the simplistic way the information was delivered in a down to earth ‘real’ way! Ngā mihi nunui kia koutou!
I could listen to Nathan all day with NO breaks. Julienne was new learning and I enjoyed her presentation.
Thank you Di for ‘nudging us along’- totally didn’t expect this and it was amazing.
Therapeutic – Holistic from science to energy. Brilliant.
Best workshop/seminar food – healthy.
Wish all parents and teachers had this knowledge made available to them. Predict that I will use Julienne’s strategies initially to make changes for myself then branch out to use in educational settings.
Loved the combo of head info and activities.

Am really pleased that I made the effort to come it is exciting to be part of looking forward to the development of programme/research, etc, with thanks.
Found the brain function most useful-and it’s impact on teaching.
Excellent food/hosts and interesting talks
The most useful was the information on core beliefs and neuroscience.
Overall the session was informative and valuable-WOW.
How emotions have an effect on learning neural pathways and how they form. The effects of singing laughter, physical exercise are so important to learning.
I would love to be part of the research so count me in if possible.
Please organise a date for us all to come back and share our findings.
